I made this hat for Justin’s birthday (back on June 11) and I’m just now getting around to photographing it. Hasn’t really been cold enough for winter hats.

Onto quilting

While Justin is away in Kansas (delivering 5 beautiful prints with frames to Park Place Gallery) I am taking advantage of the time to work on his quilt. Designing a quilt from scratch is a first for me, but I have laid the entire piece out in photoshop and love the way it looks. Hopefully I can make it a reality. It is a ton of work, especially to make it king size, but it will all be worth it if I can pull it off. I took some pictures of the pattern pieces I cut out…any guesses on what it is? I can’t show too much or else Justin will know what it is.
