Draft

I honestly feel bad for all of the people in this world who are uncomfortable around horses. I think they are some of the most magnificent creatures on the planet. I was blessed to have a best friend growing up that had horses, so I’ve always had that appreciation for them.

Moo Parker

Justin, Parker and I had the chance to see a draft horse show at The Ranch this past weekend. An incredible day for me because draft horses are a particularly special beast. Massive, to say the least. We went early for a university demonstration of cart judging. 1 Belgian, 2 Clydesdales and 3 Percherons. Amazing. I took a lot of photos, none of them fantastic, but I’d like to share and show everyone the story.

    Hey Jess,
I didn’t even know that was going on. Izie is obsessed with horses! If you guys do anything like this again, let us know. I know that she would l-o-v-e it!

Excellent photos, per usual. Really dig the black and white cropped theme.

  3. [...] Vermont’s state horse, the Morgan horse is a beautiful creature. They have a very distinct body shape, with long curving necks, short ears, and a wonderful temperament. No better place to visit them than UVM’s Morgan Horse Farm. Parker is very used to seeing horses among the Colorado landscape, but doesn’t get the chance to get up close and personal too often. Although he has seen the Budweiser Clydesdales, and has been to the Draft Horse Show. [...]
